Spring into March's Newsletter

My Monthly Dispatch

Time to catch up on what's been happening this past month, and see what's coming up.

Hello Reader. It's March, can you believe it? January was 491 days long but February seemed to disappear like mist in sunlight!

But how was February for you? I'm still searching for a job and am thankful for every response I get, even if it is a 'no.' Responses seem like a thing of the past, which I find odd considering how many different options there are. And yes, I did feel old as I typed that!

I hope you're enjoying the short stories I'm doing. I'd love to hear from you about them. Do you have a local story or legend you'd like me to? Let me know if you do, especially if they're for a specific time of year. 💙

So, what else has happened since last we spoke? Let me tell you...

Macsen and Delyth are with my Critique Partner and Editor!!! Woohoo, I'm so happy. Also nervous as hell, but happy. I'm hoping to hear back soon so I can start on the edits and formatting.

If you would like to review an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) then fill out the form from the link below and I'll get one sent as soon as possible. There is also an option to read and review the other books in the series if you haven't so far.

The release date for Bridge of Bones is the 14th of April but it is available for pre-order right now on Amazon. You can also find it on Goodreads, Smashbomb, and BookBub if you want to put it on your TBR. 💙

Happy 4th Birthday, Hiraeth!

It's hard to believe Hiraeth is four years old, but it's true on the 8th of March!

As a special treat for my newsletter subscribers, I'm offering a free copy of this magical realism story with dragons, set in Beddgelert, North Wales. Simply email me with the subject line "Happy Birthday, Hiraeth," and I'll send you a copy!

Time to catch up on what's been happening this past month, and see what's coming up. Hello Reader. October was a hard month for me personally, with things happening that I never expected, and was completely unprepared for. Seeming to reflect that, the trees outside my window have gone bare almost overnight. It was a difficult month—one that was both chaotic and quiet, so I'm okay with it now being November! I'm having to learn how to be kind to myself a bit more, to rest when I can, and to...

My Monthly Dispatch Time to catch up on what's been happening this past month, and see what's coming up. Hello Reader. October is here, and it feels like a month made for stories – crisp evenings, golden leaves, and that touch of magic in the air. This year, it’s especially special for me, and I’d love to share a few celebrations with you. A Decade of StoriesI can hardly believe it, but this month marks my 10-year publiversary. Ten years since I first pressed “publish” and nervously sent my...

Hey Reader. In Wales, the second harvest is known as Gŵyl Canol Hydref (pronounced gwill can-ol hud-rev)—the Mid-Harvest Festival. It falls in the turning weeks of September, when grapes hang heavy on the vine and the air carries the first hint of frost. Like many such observances across Celtic lands, it is both a thanksgiving and a warding, but in Cymru it takes on a character all its own: steeped in wine, wheat, and the quiet strength of the oak. In the south, where vines were once...
