Weekly Dispatch w/e 21st July

My Weekly Dispatch

Time to catch up on what's been happening this past week, and see what's coming up.

Hello Reader, I'm pleased to report my cough has finally gone! Thank goodness for that. So you'll have no more reports about that! 😆

And I've also finished my Welsh Coastal Walk - 161km done! When I receive my medal, I'll show it to you. I'm a very happy bunny as I managed it quicker than expected, and that was just counting my walks home from work. I'm trying to find one in Germany for my next one. I think I'm addicted. 💙

So, what has happened since last we spoke? Let me tell you...

ARCs have gone out and, so far, I've had good feedback! Keep your fingers crossed it stays that way.

If you would still like the opportunity to have an ARC, please click on the button below.💙

Rio

#FamilyMovieNight was a classic (for us, at least) with Rio being watched. I think it's because the Puds want to watch Rio 2, which is also on Prime, so they wanted a refresher first.

I love this film, especially the supporting characters. I'm quite looking forward to Rio 2 now myself! 😁

Royal Portuguese Reading Room, Rio de Janeiro

This one seems apt considering the film we just watched!

It's appropriate that "royal" is in the name of this library because it's truly fit for a king or queen. The striking, limestone exterior is only rivalled by the intricate, dark wood arches, stained glass windows, and vibrant blue ceilings that make this library a haven for book lovers. And with 350,000 volumes to choose from, you could spend all day here.

What are you up to? Do you have any special plans or events coming up? Let me know if you fancy sharing.

If you want daily updates, don't forget to join my FB group - Morgan's Musings.

Don't forget to check the book below - another new release from the #FaRo Authors! Until next week...

Take care and have fun! 💙

A woman determined to destroy a conniving king. A fae lord who will sacrifice himself to shield her from harm. Can their love survive the upcoming battle?

A thorny collar controls my every move and betrayal haunts me, but I’m still determined to seek vengeance for my brother’s death. I’ll do it with or without Vexxion’s help. But when he calls in his favor, I’m given no choice. If I don’t make another deal with this secretive fae man I still can’t resist, I’m doomed to fail.

Do I dare trust him again?

Vexxion continues to train my elusive magic. I do my best to evade those trying to kill me while working to free my friends from the realm where their souls wander. In between, I sneak into the castle aerie and work with the dragons, plus serve as lady in waiting to the king’s fiancé. She doesn’t realize how close her death looms.

But our time is running out. To win this deadly game, I may be forced to sacrifice myself to save everyone I love.

In the court of the wicked fae, the weak are exploited, secrets abound, and only the ruthless survive.

A Court of Wicked Fae is Book 2 in the Kingdom of Blighted Thorns trilogy and told in dual point of view. Expect plenty of spice, suspense, a ruthless, determined woman, and a fae lord with shocking secrets who will stop at nothing to claim her as his own.

My Monthly Dispatch Time to catch up on what's been happening this past month, and see what's coming up. Hello Reader. I can't believe it's June already. I mean, seriously?! How the hell did that happen? My part of Germany is suffering a very dry spring, although we did have a big thunderstorm yesterday. My poor peonies are now all droopy! It's one of the driest on record, and the sandbanks are showing on the Rhine. It doesn't bode well for summer! Big Pud has finished her exams for this...

The blossoms are in full bloom here in Germany, and with May’s gentle light comes exciting news from my little corner of the enchanted world. 🌙✨ I'm still in the midst of job-hunting, but in the meantime, I've been channelling the stress into writing, typing from early morning to late evening.
